Everything you need to know before your first class
YES! Bikram Yoga classes are accessible to all and without reservation. Whether you are a novice or an experienced yogi, a confirmed athlete or not, flexible or not at all — the Bikram Yoga series is a succession of Hatha Yoga postures specially designed for beginners. Every posture has modifications, and our instructors will guide you through each one.
What to wear: Light, comfortable clothing — shorts and a tank top work perfectly.
What to bring: A yoga mat, a practice towel, a shower towel, and a large water bottle. Don't have your own gear? Mat and towel rentals are available at the studio.
Hydration: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially in the 2 hours before class.
Food: Eat your last meal at least 4 hours before practice. A light snack is fine 2 hours before.
Arrive early: Please arrive 15 minutes before your first class to get settled.
Please respect the silence before, during, and after class. No shoes, phones, or personal effects in the practice room.
For your first class, practice gently and listen to your body. Don't leave the room during class — if you need a break, simply sit or lie down on your mat. There is no judgment and no competition — we practice together as a community.
The heat may feel intense the first time you enter the practice room — that's completely normal. Rest assured, your body will quickly adapt to the temperature.
You can sit down and rest at any point during class. The heat actually accelerates your progress by allowing deeper stretches, increased circulation, and enhanced detoxification. Most practitioners find they quickly grow to love and crave the warmth.
For beginners, we recommend 2-3 classes per week to allow your body to adapt. As you progress, many practitioners enjoy practicing daily. The key is consistency — a regular practice yields the best results for both body and mind.
No reservation is needed for most classes. Simply show up at the studio at least 15 minutes before class begins. For special workshops or events, advance booking may be required — follow us on social media or contact us for updates.
